While Mamelodi Sundowns have been busy boosting and preparing the current squad in order to put up a strong challenge for the ABSA Premiership title at the end of the season, some players are being loaned out to clubs where they will get the much needed game time.
Three players are being loaned out. Tshepo Ramokala will be making a trip down to Maritzburg United, where the midfielder will be on trial with the hope of securing a loan deal with the Maritzburg based club. Ramokala has been a target of United since the reign of Ian Palmer as coach, but he will now have to impress Ernst Middendorp, who is the club’s new head coach.
The three players going on loan:
Papi Zothwane – Bloemfontein Celtic
Phetolo Lebepe – Blackburn Rovers (NFD)
Meshack Ramahuma – Bay United (NFD)
An agreement has been reached between Mamelodi Sundowns and Bloemfontein Celtic for a loan deal, which will see Papi Zothwane turn out for ‘Siwelele’ until the end of the 2011/12 season. Zothwane will complete paperwork on Monday, 23 January 2012 and immediately leave for Bloemfontein to join up with his new club for preseason.
Lebepe will sign a professional contract with Mamelodi Sundowns and then be loaned out to the East London based National First Division club, but both Lebepe and Ramahoma are leaving for their new clubs as of Monday, 23 January 2012.
